Our approach

This site pairs a visual, animated presentation with a foundation meant to work for everyone: real HTML content, keyboard operation, and alternatives to motion-driven experiences. Accessibility is treated as ongoing work rather than a finished checkbox, and we keep improving it as the site evolves.

What's built in

• Keyboard operation for navigation, galleries, the project map (arrow keys orbit, +/- zoom), forms, and dialogs
• A reduced-motion experience: when your system requests reduced motion, scroll films and map flights are replaced with static, complete equivalents
• Descriptive alternative text on project photography and meaningful images
• Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link
• Form fields with visible labels, clear errors, and success feedback
• Touch targets sized for mobile use and visible focus indicators
• A text project index alongside the visual 3D map, listing every highlighted project

Known limitations

The interactive 3D project map is a visual instrument; its full orbit-and-zoom experience is inherently visual. The complete project information it presents is also available as plain text through the project index beneath the map, and every fact it displays is rendered in regular HTML.
